It feels so good to have come full circle. We started scaling the artwork through the Dallas Market back in 2012. The rollercoaster ride took off and we were running full speed, attending all the major markets. After our brand partnership with John-Richard in 2016, we were able to step back and take a long, hard look at what we do that is unique, what is it that sets us apart from the large-scale art manufacturers.
We offer art directly from an actual artist. I don't have a mini-me crew painting at midnight...it is truly my hand and signature on every piece. The new showroom tells that story. Buyers are able to connect with the creative process and work with the studio team. The showroom is moments away from the working studio, so many of the pieces are first run test prints or new releases.
January market was our official ribbon cutting ceremony! Thank you to our incredible team for all the hard work.
It has been a rollercoaster ride for sure. We took the art to market in 2013, just six years ago this January. The whirlwind of learning the art of being an artist, business woman, wife, and mother...all at the same time. It finally feels as though I have settled into a much appreciated groove. Our focus continues to be custom collections for a selection of key accounts as well as the daily custom projects with interior designers. Trade customers will find a selection of one-of-a-kinds as well as top sellers from the Art Library. The showroom is designed to tell our story of not only the artwork but the licensing and brand partnerships.
I was recently asked what things I miss from our growth...I miss the connection, of meeting with clients, seeing the projects, and the feeling you get when you see a completed work through the eyes of the end user. The Dallas showroom enables a more connected experience on a daily basis. The working studio is minutes away from the showroom and where I spend the majority of my time. My goal for 2019 is to open the studio up once a month for special art events.
